Remember the old saying? “You are what you eat”. Cliché, ain’t it?  But it’s true. We’re pretty sure that you want to look your best on the day of your marriage. Let’s have a look at the six diet plans you must follow, till the special day arrives!

The morning “Ritual”:

Mix one tea-spoon full of honey and juice of one lemon into a glass of lukewarm water and drink in empty stomach. This fights toxins, and cleanses the stomach. Effective in treating pimples from within and also helps in weight loss.

The King-size breakfast:

A heavy breakfast in the morning is like fuelling a car for the day. Make your breakfast a balanced one with some calorie along with good quantity of protein, vitamin and iron. Your breakfast menu might include bread, cereals, fruit, milk,  eggs. Avoid oily and fried food in the morning, they are not very good for your digestion system.

Brown in, white out:

Replace your white calories with the brown ones. For example, brown bread instead of white bread and brown rice instead of white rice. They contain much lower quantity of calorie and will help in cutting down your weight.

Say ‘hello” to more starch:

Instead of drinking fruit juice, add fresh fruit in your diet. Those artificial colours, smells and preservatives in juices have side effects and increase body weight.  Fruits are rich in starches and starches are great for your digestion. Nutritious value of fruits is also higher than that of juices.

Eat less to eat more:

Break your meals to small and more frequent ones. Eat 5-7 times a day with intervals. They keep your metabolism highly active and you don’t store negative calorie in your body. This will also keep you stuffed throughout the day and will cause you to consume lesser calorie, at the end.

The negative calorie food:

They should be your best friend right now. Wondering what they’re all about? Negative calorie food are those who require more calorie to be digested than the quantity of calorie they themselves give you. The list includes cucumber, tomato, apple, celery, lettuce, grapefruit and more. They burn more than they give you. For best results, eat one plate of green salad before taking your meal. This will full you and you’ll eventually end up eating up less.
